Mr. Amandeep Singh Walia is the visionary leader behind the contributions made to the
tech industry. We expressed our deepest appreciation for sharing sir’s remarkable life
journey with us and we were grateful not only for the knowledge sir shared but also for
the values he imparted.
Building a tech company from Sir’s campus in IIM, from humble beginnings to the
pinnacle of success in the tech industry is nothing short of inspiring. Sir spoke about his
love for maths, physics, and solving problems which paved his way toward getting into
IIT. IIT provided sir a platform to learn skills like organizing events, dealing with various
kinds of people, and a lot more, which helped sir to build all great experiences and
successful companies.
Sir did not choose to follow the prevailing path that most in his class chose, but, to
contribute to the greater good by joining a small tech company, breaking the
conventional middle-class mindset. Sir emphasized how one should know what they are
and work towards achieving that. Knowing the gap that existed in communication and
data collection helped Sir realize what he wanted to work toward, leading to such
flourishing ventures. Money was not Sir’s story but his passion and the kindling flame in
his mind about solving problems and building things that solved problems kept Sir
going all throughout.
Sir graced us with some valuable advice too. Listening to our parents, teachers, and
friends combined with working very hard to know more about ourselves and knowing
our best interests is the most crucial of all. Building a story about ourselves, about what
we want to pursue, and about how we want our lives to be is the kick-off point to be
content and successful in our lives. Sir shared with us the secret of any successful life.
it does not matter where you are currently but, knowing your story and writing it all along
your journey, success is just a consequence. Being privileged or underprivileged,
whether one belongs to a rich family or a middle class, hard work is the only key to
getting there.
In conclusion, we expressed our sincere thanks to Aman sir for sharing his incredible
life journey with us. Sir’s words have motivated us, his experiences have enlightened us,
and his presence here was truly an honor.
