‘There’s a way to do it better-find it’, as Thomas Alva Edison has quoted, and
Dr.Naveen has found it. A remarkable individual whose contributions have not just been
exemplary but transformative, Mr. Naveen Kunde, the Vice President of Business
Development at Kebotix USA, embodies the pinnacle of innovation, and leadership,
setting benchmarks that inspire and propel progress.
On the 25th of November, we learned how Sir’s journey is not just marked by degrees; it
is a narrative of dedication, perseverance, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, and yet
a very humble soul, truly a Goan at heart. Being as broad as possible and Having
curiosity is the primary ignition to success. Sir also emphasized the cruciality of working
hard, securing a good job, and the most important of all, i.e., Networking, being
approachable, and connecting with others who are going through the same journey,
helps to pave the path better.
The second decade was a pivot and high mileage one in Sir’s life. Caught off guard by
unexpected turns like the attack of 9/11, and the recession, deeply affected Sir’s
journey. Having lost his job his network helped him bounce back.
Sir’s experience at the prestigious Cornell helped him to thrive and learn a whole lot of
new skills. Sir stressed the importance ofw rounding ourselves up and learning new and
all the possible skills, from learning dining etiquette to horse riding and a lot more!
Sir spoke about embracing the unknown and hence attaining executive presence that is
not just the way one dresses or appears on the outside but having an accepting attitude,
having good listening and communication skills making a promise, and keeping your
promise builds a person. Sir very well said that the world pays you to solve problems,
and hence be problem solvers.
Sir provided us with some very well advice about how startups are exciting but aren’t for
everyone, how leaders are made and not born, and how being curious is the key to life!

The three main takeaways from the 3-decade journey are firstly focusing on your
strengths and choosing careers that help you to shine. Secondly, learning and adapting
to succeed, being okay with the pivots of life, and following the three-step cycle of
learning, doing, and teaching would take you closer to your dream of being a pioneer
and impacting the world. The third and main takeaway is, to Give back, not be selfish
about our own gifts, to help others, to be gentle, to have resilience, and to stay young
forever!
The Q and A session was an engaging and enlightening one.
Sir’s experience of the three decades helped many of my peers to chart their own paths
of successful journeys.
In the contemporary corporate landscape, where the prevailing trend is often geared
toward downsizing and employee layoffs, Naveen Sir’s approach stands out as an
eminence of forward-thinking leadership and how he works towards Achieving Digital
Transformation by Augmenting People, not replacing them.
In conclusion, we expressed our sincere gratitude to Mr. Naveen Kunde for gracing us
with his invaluable insights and for taking the time to share his experience and
expertise. Sir’s dedication to innovation and his commitment to excellence serve as an
inspiration to us all. We extended our gratitude to Sir VPD as well for inviting such
prestigious personalities and for helping us to broaden our horizons. We are truly
privileged to have had the opportunity to learn from someone of Dr Naveen’s caliber, and
we look forward to the continued impact of his work on the world of business and
innovation.
