Black Or White
Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School has always given us more than just academics. Our Director, Mr. Vyankatesh Prabhudesai gives us the privilege to meet and interact top personalities from various fields so that we get an insight on the nature and scope of their respective field of expertise.
Recently, we had the opportunity to meet one such personality,Mr. Dattaprasad Lawande, Advocate General and probably one of the youngest ones, in Goa. He was formally introduced by Ms. Hetal G. Gangani and warmly welcomed by our Director, Mr. Vyankatesh Prabhudesai.
Mr. Lawande began the session by nostalgically speaking about his school days and highlighted the fact that the essence of delivering our best as students and in life, lies in effective time and stress management. It is important to identify ones strengths and weaknesses so that it helps us further in making a career choice. It was very insightful to hear from such a young and ambitious personality the importance and difference between knowledge, intelligence and wisdom. And given the fast pace of today’s competitive world, how smart work is important than hard work.
Steering the interaction towards his field, Mr. Lawande, introduced us to the fascinating world of law and justice. Interesting disclosure of facts and discussions on criminal law, some extra ordinary cases he handled and more than that his learning experience he gained climbing the success ladder, truly got the entire class motivated and energised!
The interaction ended with the question and answer session, which was entirely coordinated by our Director, Mr. Vyankatesh Prabhudesai. Mr. Lawande tackled all the queries with ease and answered enthusiastically and highlighted the kind of effort and hard work that one needs to put in for preparing to get into the career of ones choice. The healthy interaction with such a young and dynamic personality was truly inspiring and it definitely added positive value to the student’s lives.
