On the evening of October 7, 2023, the students of Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary
School had the honor of engaging with the renowned cricketer, Mr. Roger Binny. The
session proved to be a captivating journey through the cricketing history and
experiences of this cricket icon.
Mr. Binny easily adapted to the online setting, charming the audience with stories and
experiences from his impressive cricket career. The main focus was on the memorable
1983 and 1985 World Cups, and people enthusiastically asked questions, making the
session interactive and enjoyable.
A diverse range of questions was posed by Sir VPD, along with many students, with a
predominant focus on the intricacies of the 1983 World Cup victory. Mr. Binny’s
responses were not only informative but also conveyed a sense of the camaraderie and
challenges faced by the Indian cricket team during those monumental tournaments.
Beyond the historical perspective, Mr. Binny shared his thoughts on the evolution of
