Internet Of Things

On Wednesday, 11th May’16, Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School was pleased to have hosted Mr. Pranav VernekarFounder and Co – owner of Inventrom Robotics.

Mr. Vernekar gave the students an overview of the concept of ‘’Internet of Things’’ where he explained how the world was moving forward into a place where all of our everyday objects, from an oil can to our cars are connected to the internet and the most interesting part was that we can monitor and control all of this just by a click on our Smart phone! Giving illustrations and examples for better understanding, Mr. Pranav explained to the students that he had an amazing experience when he test drove the Tesla car. He also realised that there is a lot of ground breaking technology involved in making a car or any product for that matter fully automatic.

Mr. Pranav further explained the Bolt system, constructed by his company and its various applications ranging from solving Panjim’s parking problem to an automated dosa maker. His ground breaking devices help to give direct uplink of the system to the internet via wifi. The students were excited when they got to know that his company also helps users prepare easy to construct and use apps along with secure cloud storage.

Giving valuable advice, the dynamic entrepreneur said that it is important to hold a right attitude towards tackling life’s hurdles and one must learn to overcome repeated failure to achieve success. He also highlighted that the easy part of discovery is the “ Idea” , the struggle lies in executing the tasks involved in bringing that idea to reality. He said that it is very important from which school one passes out from as it directly influences the future prospects that lie ahead.

The interaction ended with the Question and answer session which was coordinated by the Director, Mr. Vyankatesh Prabhudesai. Mr. Pranav answered all the queries with enthusiasm and the students were really thrilled to have such a dynamic personality amongst them as they looked up to him like role model for gaining success at such a young age. The students were elated and said that Mr. Pranav is a true inspiration for them!
