Champions are made and not born. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them, a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.
MAHSS hosted one of its all-time Champion achievers Mr. Saish Kapadi for a motivational interactive session on 24/06/2020. Mr.Kapadi was Born and brought up in Bicholim,a small town in North Goa. He did his schooling from Shri Shatadurga high school in Bicholim. He secured 11th rank in the Goa state merit list at SSC examination. Later he moved to Panajiand joined Aryan Study Circle to prepare for IIT-JEE, where he was groomed and mentored by Director Mr. Vyankatesh Prabhudesai (VPD Sir). He Secured All India Rank 11 in All India Engineering Entrance Examination(AIEEE) 2010. He was also placed in the top 0.25% in IIT-JEE 2010 with All India Rank 754. He holds a B.tech mechanical engineering degree from IIT Madras. He was Awarded the Singapore Technology Scholarship for excellent academic performance at IIT Madras. He works as a Design Engineer at Neo motion Assistive Solutions Pvt. Ltd. building mobility devices for people with disabilities.Some of the prototypes developed by him are undergoing mass production. Currently, He is pursuing PGDM at IIM, Bangalore which is a premier business school of India.
Mr. Kapadi started by sharing an anecdote of his success at IIT Madras. Despite having an opportunity of joining any of the top NITs in any branch, he decided to join IIT, Madras. His academic performance at IIT, Madras was exemplary where he managed to be one of the toppers of his department. He lauded IITs for its research facilities where one is tutored & mentored by the best faculties in the country. IITs also give an advantage of peer to peer learning as one is always surrounded by some of the best brains in the country. This enhances the analytical and problem-solving ability of a person. Students from IITs go on to get top jobs in the Industry hence one builds an excellent network in Life.
